Scottish Single Hand Sword
This Sword is fashioned after a Fifteenth Century Design believed
to be inscribed on the monument of Robert de Greenlaw, who died in 1411. This
beautiful sword has a highly polished 33" high carbon steel blade with
strong tang that is peened onto the pommel. The fuller starts just 1"
below the ricasso and runs 3/4 of the length of the blade. It features a dark
hardwood handle and with polished solid steel pommel and lobed lobed quillons
and short langet extending from the quillon block are typical of this forerunner
of the Claymore.
A full top grain leather scabbard is included.
