Sword of Brian Boru

This is a truly beautiful replica of what is believed to be the sword carried by King Brian Boru, complete with solid brass crossguard and pommel. The handle is made of hardwood and wrapped in black nylon cord, so as not to stretch from long-term handling. (Note the quillions. Unlike the Scottish Claymore, on which the quatrefoils extend at the same angle as the quillions, the Irish Claymore bears backturned quatrefoils.) Only 400 individually-numbered pieces available worldwide.
