Our Hanwei Practical Series of samurai swords are designed to offer the same high performance as our other katanas and daisho, but at a lower cost. These swords are hand-crafted of high-carbon steel and are suitable for combat use, heavy cutting practice, and just about anything else you can throw at them! This series of swords is crafted by Hanwei under the direction of the famous swordsmith, Paul Chen. We think the samurai warriors of old would have been proud to own a Hanwei blade and we are proud to carry them.
