The 16th-Century Scottish Claymore features an ebony handle with steel rings and diamond cross-section quillons ending in quatrefoils found on many period pieces. The leather-wrapped ricasso, a feature found on many larger two-handed swords, provided extra leverage in close-combat situations. It comes with a full-length top grain leather scabbard. This sword also features a full heavy tang.
