The rapier carrier was so often a perfect accessory to a sword, simply because of the decoration. The pewter plate has a matte finish which will match just about all guards and pommels. Eight buckles - when only a few are truly necessary - show the wearer to be someone who can afford excess. The carrier body is even removable from the belt so you can remove your sword without juggling pouches and daggers! The straps will fit the majority of swords, but we can make them longer if you have a particularly big scabbard.
