The one thing we have noticed about soft-liner wineskins is that they always - always! - leak. This is never good for the costume (or the beverage!). Therefore we use a plastic bota which is easily removed for cleaning and, in the distant future, replacement. The laced top allows this to be done quickly and easily! Additionally, we add a small pouch for your gems and coins, solid pewter beads, a solid pewter button, a 1" shoulder strap and a torn-edged throat to add a bit of a rustic look.
