Boar SpearBoar Spear Ref: BR-CS95BOA
A longspear with a broad, sharp head and a pair of lugs (or "wings") to keep the blade from penetrating too deeply into the body on a powerful thrust. The lugs were a Roman invention which remained popular during the spear's long tenure as a popular battlefield weapon, due to their ability to parry incoming blows or hook an opponent's shield. The spear is considered to be one of Man's first weapons and its use in hunting continues even to this day. Forged of tough, spring-tempered carbon steel by Cold Steel; the shaft is stout, premium ash.
