Scottish Single-Hand Sword
This sword is patterned after fifteenth-century models originating
in the West Highlands and the Isles. The wheel pommel, lobed quillons and
short langet extending from the quillon block are typical of this forerunner
of the Claymore. The hilt has a Macassar ebony grip with solid brass fittings.
