Arming Cap

 

Worn under both the helmet and the mail hood, the Arming Cap offered cushioning for the head, and absorbed some of the sweat. Although the original cloth arming caps were stuffed with rags and straw, our poly/cotton cap is thickly lined with fiber fill. Machine washable. Quilted construction with a tie cord. Also works well in fencing to secure the mask. Available in Small (21" head circumference), Med (22"), Lg. (23") and XL (24").
