Accurate footwear has been one of the more difficult problems to face the medieval enthusiast or re-enactor. These two styles are copied from a display in the Royal Armory in Leeds. The originals were made on a common last, and as a result were neither right nor left, but rest assured ours have been modernized to provide a distinction between left and right. The black style features a stirrup-type accent and flares gradually towards the top to accomodate most calf sizes. Men's whole sizes 8-13.
